How the Trade Exchange Works
From discovery to a real commercial relationship.
For Haitian Suppliers
- Create or claim your business. If your company is already in the HaitianBusiness.org directory you can link it — you never need a duplicate listing.
- Complete your supplier profile. Classification, production capacity, minimum order quantity, lead times, logistics and compliance.
- Submit products and capabilities. Add each product with photos, wholesale units, packaging and certifications.
- Apply for verification. The Chamber or an authorized partner reviews your identity and documentation, then your export readiness.
- Receive buyer inquiries. Appear in buyer searches, respond to sourcing requests and receive facilitated introductions.
Supplier status levels
- Listed Supplier — basic business profile completed.
- Verified Supplier — business identity and required documentation reviewed by the Chamber or an authorized partner.
- Export Ready — additional trade-readiness criteria reviewed.
For U.S. Buyers
- Create an account on HaitianBusiness.org.
- Create a buyer profile describing what you source, your volumes and the certifications you require.
- Search suppliers and products by sector, Haiti region, supplier type, verification status, minimum order and more.
- Post a sourcing request. Choose whether it is public, limited to verified suppliers, or handled privately by Chamber matchmaking.
- Request introductions to qualified suppliers and work with the Chamber and partner organizations through the process.
Your information stays private
Buyer contact details are never published. Suppliers see only your company type and region until you request an introduction.
Chamber-assisted matchmaking
The Trade Exchange is a managed ecosystem, not a passive directory. Chamber staff review sourcing requests, match buyers with qualified suppliers, facilitate introductions and follow opportunities through negotiation so the Chamber can report measurable commerce, investment and job creation.
