About This Event

We are calling all Timoun Dessalines to come together and celebrate Haitian pride before kickoff! Join us for an exciting afternoon of culture, music, and community as we honor our heritage through the beautiful game of Football — Futbòl, a sport deeply rooted in Haitian culture and national pride. Football has long been a symbol of unity and resilience in Haiti. From legendary players who carried our flag onto the world stage—such as Emmanuel “Manno” Sanon, Philippe Vorbe, and Ernst Jean-Joseph from Haiti’s historic 1974 World Cup team—to today’s rising stars like Duckens Nazon, who proudly represents Haiti on the national team, the love of the game continues to inspire generations. Starting in the Fanzone at 5:00 PM, enjoy a vibrant pregame celebration featuring: Live performances by local Rara band High-energy DJs Performances by local Haitian dance groups Community celebration, music, and cultural pride This event is more than a game — it is a celebration of heritage, history, and Haitian excellence through football. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors, because the Haitian community knows how to celebrate in unity.
